VSMPO was awarded the highest supplier award “2019 SQIP Accredited” at the annual conference of Airbus suppliers held as part of Supply Chain and Quality Improvement Program known as SQIP.
This is the third consecutive award given to the Russian supplier by its strategic customer – the European aerospace corporation (previous awards were “Best Improver” and “Best Performer”).
This award is the Airbus’ acknowledgement of VSMPO-Avisma’s highest level of reliability as a key supplier and is in line with the corporate strategy of continuous quality improvement and full customer satisfaction.
VSMPO-Avisma has been an important supplier of titanium to Airbus since 1990s. Currently VSMPO-Avisma supplies titanium products for all Airbus projects, including A330neo and A350XWB. (Russian Aviation/Ukrainian metal)
