In January-November 2018 Russia imported 280 thousand tons of corrosion-resistant flat steel valued at $648 million, up by 7.9% and by 16.3% YoY respectively.
The sheet with the width of 600 mm and more accounted for 90% of the imports.
The main supplier was China – 51%, up by 49.7%.
The share of Taiwan dropped by 18.4%, to 15%, and that of Spain – by 11.5%, to 7%. (Ukrainian metal)
