In 2018 Ukraine received $9.937 billion of revenue from the export of ferrous metals, up by 14.7% YoY.
According to the State Fiscal Service, ferrous metals accounted for 20.99% of all the exports last year as opposed to 20.03% in 2017.
In December 2018 ferrous metals export revenue was $760.141 million.
At the same time imports in 2018 grew by 20.4%, to $1.366 billion, with $101.11 million in December 2018.
Exports of metal wares increased in 2018 by 23.8%, to $1.11 billion ($85.976 million in December 2018), while imports by 19.9%, to $967.674 million ($81.192 million). (Ukrainian metal)
