Severstal Russian Steel has completed the autumn repair campaign at Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works and Severstal Bar Works Balakovo.
Overall the group has carried out 10 capital repairs valued at 1.8 billion UAH.
In particular the blast furnace No. 2, converter No. 3 and mill-2000 have been repaired. The latter allows now producing sheet with the width of up to 1850 mm. (Ukrainian metal)
