In January-October Armenia decreased metal output by 2.7% YoY as opposed to the growth of 12% last year.

In particular, ferromolybdenum manufacture grew by 4%, to 5744 tons, with 758 tons produced in October, up by 2.8% MoM.

Molybdenum output increased by 1.5%, to 9346 tons, with 1006 tons produced in October, up by 21.6%.

Raw copper manufacture dropped by 9.1%, to 8831 tons, and by 55.3%, to 355 tons in October.

Copper concentrate output totaled 274.1 thousand tons in 10 months, down by 23% YoY, while in October it increased by 19.9% MoM, to 27.1 thousand tons.

The manufacture of aluminum foil decreased by 9.5%, to 24710 tons, but grew considerably (by 83.8%) in October to 2220 tons. Rolled aluminum production fell by 71.2%, to 156 tons.

Steel pipes output in January-October reached 8869 tons, down by 0.3% YoY. In October output dropped by 14% MoM, to 890 tons.

Zinc concentrate manufacture increased by 21.4%, to 9785 tons, with 1031 tons produced in October, up by 22.4%.

According to the Customs Service, in H1 foil was mostly exported to US, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Canada and Austria. Copper ore importers were Bulgaria, Switzerland, Ukraine and Romania. Molybdenum concentrate was mostly exported to Belarus, Russia and US. Belarus also imported all the zinc concentrate. (Ukrainian metal)
