China’s HBIS Tangsteel plans to build a 100-billion ruble steel plant in Russia’s Far East, the regional authorities said in a statement on November 30.
“The corporation is interested in cooperation with the Far East of Russia. HBIS Tangsteel plans to acquire a metals plant in the Khabarovsk region, and to build a new metal facility on the territory of the Primorsky region,” the authorities said.
