Alexander Sivakov has been appointed the executive director of the Volgograd Iron and Steel Works Krasniy Octyabr.
Previously he has been a deputy governor of the Volgograd region and the chairman of the economic policy and development commission.
In early November the arbitrary court of the Volgograd region declared the plant bankrupt.
Krasniy Octyabr is one of the largest manufacturers of rolled metal of special steel in Russia. It produces over 900 unique steel grades in more than 3 thousand types and sizes. (Ukrainian metal)
