The centrifugal casting shop of Krasniy Octyabr was commissioned in 1970.
On February 2,1970 the furnace No. 3 made the first smelting.
The electric arc furnace No. 3 is the only furnace at Krasniy Octyabr producing centrifugal castings and forging ingots.
The shop employs some 70 people. (Ukrainian metal)
