In January-August Russia produced 194.23 tons of gold, up from 193.58 tons last year.

According to the Ministry of Finances, mined gold output totaled 162.28 tons, up by 2.6% YoY. Co-product and secondary gold manufacture dropped by 13%, to 10.3 tons, and by 8.3%, to 21.65 tons respectively.

Silver output grew by 1.8%, to 701.26 tons.

The manufacture of mined silver increased by 1.1%, to 318.75 tons, of co-product silver fell by 4.9%, to 211.74 tons, while of secondary silver went up by 13.2%, to 170.77 tons. (Ukrainian metal)
