Virdy Bikram has been appointed the Chief Procurement Officer, PJSC ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih. In this position, Bikram is responsible for supply of raw material resources, equipment for investment and strategic projects, materials and services.

Virdy Bikram: “I am glad to join PJSC ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih’s team. I believe that my diverse experience in management and procurement that I have gained in the big industrial companies of India and Kazakhstan will be in strong demand here. I will foster all my efforts to ensure stable and sufficient supplies of raw materials, and to optimize Capital and Operational Expenses (CAPEX&OPEX Projects), efficient suppliers’ selection and saving of the plant’s costs”.

Previously Virdy Bikram worked at AGS-Champion (Kazakhstan) as Director for Procurement and he was responsible for purchases, ensuring operation chain on sales, construction and services of the plant. Prior to that, over the course of 12 years he had been working at the largest construction company of Kazakhstan, KazStroy-Service, which focused on the construction of facilities for oil and gas companies: he held a position of the First Deputy Director General for designing of pipelines and constructions and a Member of KSS Kazakhstan Board.
