In January-August Kazakhstan exported 1.25 million tons of rolled steel and pipes to Russia, up by 6.8% YoY.
Non-alloyed flat rolled metal accounts for some 90% of the exports, of which plate steel – 58% and coated rolled metal – 29%, all up by 9.3%, 10.2% and 0.2% YoY respectively.
Steel pipe deliveries grew by 80%. Their share in the total exports reached 8.6%.
At the same time exports of bars and sections fell by 73%, and their share to 2%. (Ukrainian metal)
