Since the start of the year Kuzbass enterprises have mined 136.7 million tons of power-generating coal and 53.3 million tons of coking coal, up by 5.4% YoY.
Mines yielded 67 million tons (65.1 million tons in January-September 2017), and pits – 123 million tons (115.1 million tons).
In September 22.1 million tons of coal were mined (20.5 million tons): 15.6 million tons of power-generating coal and 6.5 million tons of coking coal.
Factories processed 10.9 million tons of coal in September (10.2 million tons), including 6.1 million tons of coking coal (5.5 million tons) and 4.8 million tons of power-generating coal. (Ukrainian metal)
