According to the Federal Service of State Statistics, in January-September Russia produced 38.9 million tons of pig iron, up by 0.4% YoY.
In September manufacture dropped by 2.2% YoY and by 4% MoM.
Rolled metal output increased by 2.5%, to 46.3 million tons. In September production fell by 3.1% MoM and by 0.2% YoY.
Pipe manufacturers increased output by 4.7%, to 9.1 million pipes. In September the results worsened by 10.3% YoY and by 2.8% MoM. (Ukrainian metal)
