In January-September MMK produced 7.301 million tons of pig iron and 9.552 million tons of steel, down by 2.8% and by 0.2% YoY respectively.
Metal products output grew by 0.6%, to 8.599 million tons. Bars accounted for 1.372 million tons, up by 0.3%, hot-rolled sheets – 3.92 million tons, up by 3.2%, and cold-rolled sheets – 1.079 million tons, up by 6.4%.
Galvanized rolled metal sales in 9 months increased by 14.1%, to 0.954 million tons. At the same time, polymer-coated rolled metal sales dropped by 21.8%, to 0.266 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
