In January-September the gold-extracting companies operating in Chukotka yielded 19.06 million tons of gold, including 2.5 tons of alluvial and 16.56 tons of ore gold.
This is down by 4% YoY, including by 4% for alluvial gold, but up by 10% for ore gold.
Silver output dropped by 13%, to 86.6 tons.
In January-September 2017 Chukotka extracted 19.88 tons of gold (17.6 tons of ore gold and 2.28 tons of alluvial gold) as well as 99.28 tons of silver. (Ukrainian metal)
