Russia estimates its losses from the US-imposed tariffs on steel and aluminum at $600 million.
“We have calculated the damage to our economy from the US decision. It is some $600 million. We have already paid $100 million of new duties”, the minister of economic development Maxim Oreshkin said.
In response Russia has imposed additional duties of 25-40% on American products, mostly some types of road-constructing machines, oil and gas machinery and optical fiber. (Ukrainian metal)
