Belarus Iron and Steel Works has manufactured a trial batch of new products – rebars of 8 mm diameter.
Previously the company produced rebars with the diameter of 10 to 40 mm.
The mastering of the new product has been dictated by the demand from customers.
This year the company has received some 40 orders for the 8 mm rebars.
By the end of the year BMZ intends to have produced around 300 tons of rebars. (Ukrainian metal)
