In August Russian metal companies shipped 5.15 million tons of metal via railroad, up by 3.5% YoY.
Sales to domestic market dropped by 5.9%, to 3.02 million tons, while exports grew by 20.6%, to 2.13 million tons.
In January-August metal sales via railroad reached 42.8 million tons, up by 5.3% YoY, with local deliveries up by 5.8%, to 24.3 million tons and exports by 4.7%, to 18.46 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
