In July Ukraine produced 1.599 million tons of steel, down by 7% YoY.
Pig iron manufacture dropped by 2%, to 1.598 million tons, while that of rolled metal – by 10%, to 1.38 million tons.
The decrease has to do with the capital repairs at the metal works.
In January-July Ukraine produced 11.75 million tons of pig iron, 11.99 million tons of steel and 10.636 million tons of rolled metal, up by 12%, 5% and 9% YoY respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
