In June Russia produced 4.33 million tons of pig iron, up by 6.7% YoY (4.293 million tons in May).
In 6 months pig iron output grew by 0.9% YoY, to 25.914 million tons.
Ukraine increased output in June by 7.9% YoY, to 1.631 million tons (1.582 million tons), and by 7.7% YoY in 6 months, to 10.152 million tons.
Kazakhstan produced 310 thousand tons of pig iron in June, down by 1.3% YoY (317 thousand tons) and 1.829 million tons in January-June, down by 0.5% YoY.
All in all CIS countries in June produced 6.271 million tons of pig iron, up by 6.6% YoY (6.192 million tons in May) and 37.895 million tons in 6 months, up by 2.6% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
