Russian Copper Company has finished modernization of the copper wire rod manufacture at the Kyshtym Electrolytic Copper Plant.

Within the project a casting machine has been replaced, and a new Southwire breaking-down rolling mill has been assembled, as well as auxiliary equipment.

The project allowed increasing the copper wire rod line capacity from 13 tons to 19 tons per hour. As the result, the overall capacity of the line has increased from 100 thousand to 140 thousand tons of copper wire rod per year.

The cost of the project is 288 million rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
