Zaporizhstal has put into operation a new 5-section cooling tower, produced in Israel.
Investments in the project totaled 40 million UAH.
The new tower will decrease water intake from the river Dnepr by 4.8 million cubic meters per year.
Electricity savings will reach 1 million kW-h.
Since 2012 Zaporizhstal has spent 8.8 billion UAH on environment modernization. (Ukrainian metal)
