According to the Statistics Committee of the Ministry of the National Economy, in June steel output reached 385 thousand tons, down by 1.8% YoY.
In January-June Kazakhstan produced 2.32 million tons of steel, up by 2.9% YoY.
Rolled metal manufacture grew by 6%, to 1.461 million tons, with 189 thousand tons produced in June, down by 24.6%.
In 6 months Kazakhstan produced 1.014 million tons of ferroalloys, up by 4.5%, with 171 thousand tons produced in June, up by 11.6% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
