39 miners for more than a day refuse to return to the surface at the Novovolynskaya-10 mine in Volyn region, demanding their salary debts to be cleared.
According to Vasiliy Pradid, the chairman of the Independent Miners Union of the mine, the miners ask the salary debts for April-June to be cleared.
He did not reveal the amount of the debt though.
The miners say they will remain underground until the salary debt is cleared.
They also ask the Cabinet of Ministers to provide 100 million UAH for the construction and reconstruction of the mine. (Ukrainian metal)
