In June Ukraine’s coal mining enterprises of all forms of ownership extracted 2.55 million tons of coal, down by 5.8% from the planned targets, the Trade Union of Coal Mining Industry of Ukraine informed with reference to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine.
“In June the coal mining enterprises of Ukraine of all forms of ownership extracted 2.549,380 tons of coal. The plan was fulfilled by 94.2%,” reads the report.
In particular, the production of coalmines managed by the Energy Ministry made up 308,700 tons, which amounted to 78.7% of the planned targets.
The production of coal mining enterprises of all forms of ownership has totaled 16.4 million tons of coal since the beginning of the year, up by 774 thousand tons from the target.
The coalmines managed by the Energy Ministry have extracted 2.16 million tons of coal since the beginning of the year, which is 93.3% of the planned targets. (Ukrinform/Ukrainian metal)
