Ukrainian scrap procurers and metal companies ask the members of the Verkhovna Rada to pass the decree on de-shadowing of the scrap market.
The draft decree presupposes making amendments to the current laws of scrap metal, accounting and to the Criminal Code.
The decree cancels the division of the scrap into household and industrial and makes it easier to procure scrap.
“This decree will set economically justified prices for scrap, which cover expenses of procuring companies on disassembly and processing of scrap, as well as allows for larger acceptance of scrap and creation of stocks need to pass peak seasonal periods”, the Ukrvtormet association chairman Vladimir Bubley declared.
