The largest coalmining enterprise of the Sakhalin – Solntsevskiy Coal Pit – is increasing output.
In January-March it mined 1.5 million tons, up 3.7-fold YoY.
In February the miners set a regional record having obtained 650 thousand tons of coal.
Last year the enterprise received a new KomatsuPC-3000 excavator with the ladle volume of 16 cubic meters. Soon two more excavators with the ladle volume of 23 cubic meters each will be put into operation: KomatsuPC-4000 and HitachiEX-3600.
These are the largest excavators on the Sakhalin and they operate only at the Solntsevskiy coal pit. (Ukrainian metal)
