In January-March Zagorsky Pipe Works shipped via railway 67.4 thousand tons of metal, up almost 4-fold YoY.
Large diameter pipes accounted for some 95% of the sales.
Almost all the pipes were supplied to the Russian oil and gas sector.
The main suppliers of sheet steel to ZTZ were MMK, CherMK and UralStal – 104.6 thousand tons.
Steel imports accounted for 25.7 thousand tons, with 85% supplied from South Korea and the rest from Ukraine. (Ukrainian metal)
