Metinvest CEO Yuri Ryzhenkov believes it will be really hard to resume operation at Yenakievo Iron and Steel Works after the fire.
“Frankly speaking, I am not aware of the situation at the plant. We lost control over it in March last year”, he said.
Still, according to him, it is possible to resurrect the plant.
“But for this specialists are needed, and techniques, including foreign ones. Thus, under current conditions, it will be very hard to resume the operation of the plant”, Ryzhenkov said. (Ukrainian metal)
