Teams of DTEK Pervomayskoye and Ternovskoye Mine Groups on March 29 mined their first million tons of coal since the beginning of the year.
In the Ternovskoye mine department, the mining areas No. 1 led by Vladimir Romankov and the site No. 6 led by Sergei Somchenko, were particularly distinguished. Both teams have already produced more than 200,000 tons each.
Yury Zhukovsky, DTEK Ternovskoye director: “I thank our team for their dedication and ability to achieve results. Having extracted more than 4 million tons of coal last year, we are not slowing down. Professionalism and responsibility of our miners, stable investment of the company in production allow us to work in a harmonious and dignified manner. The extracted first million ton ahead of schedule is the best evidence of this.”
In the Pervomayskoye mine management, working with four lavas, the miners reduced the terms of the transition from long face to long face to a minimum, in order to extract coal without lowering production indicators. Since the beginning of the year, the average load on long face has reached 2,685 tons per day. In February the mine management commissioned a new long face, and before the end of the year plans to commission five more and produce over 3.5 million tons of coal. (SCM/Ukrainian metal)
