In January Russia increased ferrous metals imports by 31.7% YoY, to 598.8 thousand tons.
According to the Federal Customs Service, the imports of ferrous metals, not counting pig iron, ferroalloys, waste and scrap, reached 439.3 thousand tons, up by 13.2% YoY.
At the same time steel pipes imports dropped by 5%, to 43.1 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
