NLMK intends to increase its galvanized and polymer-coated rolled metal capacities at the Lipetsk site by constructing the continuous hot dip galvanizing line No. 5 and polymer-coating machine No. 4.
The former will produce 450 thousand tons of rolled metal with the thickness of 0.3-2.5 mm and the width of 700-1550 mm per year, while the capacity of the latter will be 150 thousand tons of polymer-coated rolled metal per year.
These projects were announced in late 2017. Now the company has started implementing them.
This year NLMK intends to increase its regional sales of galvanized metal to 56% and exports to 8%. (Ukrainian metal)
