Kyshtym Electrolytic Copper Plant has finished the assembly of a new cooling stack.

The equipment has been installed under the project to modernize and increase capacity of the company copper wire rod output.

As the company plans to increase output, more water will be needed. Thus the cooling stack has more powerful pumps and fans.

“We produce almost a quarter of wire rod in Russia. Now the line manufactures 13 tons of wire rods per hour, or up to 100 thousand tons per year. As the result of the investment project, the output will total 20 tons per hour, or 140 thousand tons per year”, the company CEO Andrei Kudryavtsev said. (Ukrainian metal)
