Energoprom and Riedhammer (Germany) have signed an engineering agreement resulting in the start of the construction of a new kiln at the Novocherkassk Electrode Works.
The new furnace will improve the quality of premium graphitized electrodes of UHP 610 mm grade, as well as provide for the stability of the manufacturing process.
This is a key project of the Energoprom investment program on increasing capacity and improving product quality.
The kiln will be put into operation in the second half of 2019. (Ukrainian metal)
