By 2025 Kamchatka region intends to have increased gold output to 17.5 tons, or up 2.6-fold compared with 2017.

New enterprises to be commissioned in the region will mostly boost the output.

In particular, in Q1 the first gold-extracting line with the capacity of 2 tons will be put into operation at the Ozernovsky GOK.

Moreover Oganicheskoye and Baranyevskoye deposits with the reserves of 20 tons of P2 gold and 34.6 tons of C1+C2 gold respectively will be put into operation within 7 years.

In 2017 Kamchatka yielded 6682 kg of gold, including 6539 kg of ore and 143 kg of alluvial gold. (Ukrainian metal)
