A new plant to produce copper wire rod opened in the city of Togliatti.
In particular, a cold start was made to the fire refining furnace.
The plant is expected to produce 24 thousand tons of copper wire rod per year and will employ 170 people.
The owner of the plant – Akron Holding – has been procuring and processing ferrous and non-ferrous metals scrap for 17 years. Last year the company decided to construct its own foundry-mechanical plant to produce copper wire rod under the RusKat brand. (Ukrainian metal)
