In January-November 2017 Armenia increased metal output by 11.4% YoY after the drop of 6.3% in 2016.

According to the National Statistics Service, ferromolybdenum output grew by 3.9%, to 6098 tons. In November 2017, 577 tons were produced, up by 12.3% MoM.

Molybdenum concentrate output in 11 months increased by 3.8%, to 10133 tons, with 929 tons produced in November 2017, up by 16.9% MoM.

Copper manufacture dropped by 7% YoY, to 10835 tons. November 2017 saw the increase in output by 9.6% MoM, to 1118 tons. Copper concentrate production went up by 10.1% YoY, to 393.7 thousand tons, with 37.8 thousand tons produced in November 2017, down by 4.3% MoM.

In January-November 2017 Armenia produced 30349 tons of aluminum foil, up by 15.8% YoY, with November 2017 output up by 0.6% MoM, to 3039 tons. Rolled aluminum manufacture in 11 months totaled 542 tons, up 97-fold YoY as opposed to the 47.7% drop in 2016.

Steel pipes manufacture grew by 34.5% YoY in 11 months, to 9834.7 tons, but dropped by 13.6% MoM, to 937 tons in November 2017.

Zinc concentrate production increased by 16.3% YoY, to 8555 tons, with 492 tons produced in November 2017, down by 41.3% MoM. (Ukrainian metal)
