The US Department of Commerce has set the final volume of the antidumping duty on the import of carbon and alloyed steel wire rod from Ukraine.
Duty for ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih and Yenakievo Iron and Steel Works is set at 44.03%, for other Ukrainian manufacturers at 34.98%.
The United States International Trade Commission has to approve of the final duties not later than February 22.
In 2016 Ukraine exported 146.47 thousand tons of wire rod to the US valued at $55.02 million, up 2-fold and by 70.9% YoY respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
