The state enterprise Ukrzaliznytsia has ordered Metinvest-SMC LLC the delivery of rails valued at 682.27 million UAH.
This year the company has to supply 26 thousand tons of R-65 rails of K76F steel with the length of 25 m at the price of 26240 UAH per ton.
In June Metinvest sold such rails 7% cheaper – at 24614 UAH per ton.
Rails will be produced at Azovstal Iron and Steel Works.
The price of the deal is 1% lower than the expected cost of purchase (688.05 million UAH). (Ukrainian metal)
