In October Russia transported 6.17 million tons of ferrous metals via railroad, up by 1% MoM and by 6.3% YoY.

In September the results were up by 2.5% and by 10.1%, while in August up by 0.7% and by 2% respectively.

In October deliveries to the local market totaled 3.55 million tons, down by 1% MoM, but up by 6.9% YoY. Exports reached 2.15 million tons, up by 4.6% and by 4.9% respectively, imports totaled 386.3 thousand tons, up by 5.9% and by 2.1%.

In January-October Russia transported 59.51 million tons of ferrous metals via railroad, up by 3% YoY, and the highest result for the past 5 years.

Local transportation totaled 33.21 million tons, up by 4.6%, exports – 21.55 million tons, down by 3.3% and imports – 3.94 million tons, up by 36.6%. (Ukrainian metal)
