The general manager of Nikolaev Alumina Works Dmitry Mirny has informed the employees of the change of the owner: the Swiss Glencore buys the plant from Rusal.
“We expect a visit of Glencore specialists soon. According to our information, Rusal is negotiating retaining alumina supplies with Glencore”, he said.
“All the rights of the employees will be observed. The company will be operating in the ordinary mode, manufacturing products according to the current agreements”, Mirny added. (Ukrainian metal)
