In January-September DTEK increased purchases of coal from Lviv and Volyn region mines by 6.3%, to 521 thousand tons.
According to the company statement, the growth has to do with the increase in electricity output at combined heat and power plants operating on the gas coal.
In September Western Ukraine mines supplied DTEK with 75 thousand tons of coal, up by 39% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
