The Russian Copper Company has been awarded the “Socially responsible company of the year” at the 11th annual “Russian Mining Award”.

In 2016-2017 RMK carried out a number of social projects aimed at developing territories around its enterprises and improving the living standards of the population. The company also finances the construction and repair of infrastructure objects and sponsors major social events.

The RMK group is one of the largest taxpayers – in 5 years it has paid over 22 billion rubles of taxes in Russia and some 58 billion tenge (10 billion rubles) in Kazakhstan. (Ukrainian metal)
