In January-September Chukotka Autonomous District obtained 19.88 tons of gold, including 17.59 tons of ore gold and 2.28 tons of alluvial, down by 11.5% YoY.
Silver output dropped by 21%, to 99.28 tons.
The decrease in output has to do with the drop in Kinross Gold operations.
In particular, the Chukotka Mining and Prospecting Company mined 7.24 tons of gold at the Kupol deposits, down by 852 kg, and 84.5 tons of silver, down by 20.5 tons. (Ukrainian metal)
