In January-September Ukrainian metal companies received 2.4 million tons of scrap, up by 5.2% YoY, with the metallurgists needs covered by 89%.
Average use of scrap in 9 months was 156.8 kg per 1 ton of liquid steel.
Scrap exports increased by 33.6%, to 321.1 thousand tons, with the most sold to Turkey.
Imports dropped from 20.8 thousand tons to 17.6 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
