Berezitovy Mine LLC, a part of Nordgold, is celebrating 10 years since it has started developing the Berezitovoye deposits in Amur region.
So far the company has mined 19.8 million tons of ore, producing over 28.5 tons of gold and 33.2 tons of silver. Gold reserves at the site are estimated at 33 tons with the average content of 2.7 g per ton, and silver – 150 tons (13.5 g per ton).
The first gold ingot was obtained in 2007. Its weight was 6 kg. It had a deep yellow color, as it contained mostly gold
At present the company produces silver-colored ingots, as they consist of 60% of silver, 30% of gold and 10% of other residues. Their weights are 13-14 kg. (Ukrainian metal)
