Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Works had to decrease output because of the untimely delivery of coking coals from seaports via railroad.
“We are fighting for our competitiveness. We had sleepless nights to reach pre-war output levels last month – 270 thousand tons. But no we have to decrease output because Ukrzaliznytsia has not brought coal from ports”, the company CEO Musa Magomedov said.
Now the works has switched a part of its cargo to automobiles.
“Raw materials to the nearby Inkor we bring by cars, which is 3-4 times cheaper. Thus, under the war logistics automobiles are cheaper”, he added. (Ukrainian metal)
