The minister of energy and coal industry Igor Nasalik says Ukraine is experiencing the shortage of gas coal to replace anthracite.
In 2017 anthracite consumption dropped by 3.5 million tons and is expected to decrease by 3 million tons more in 2018.
Nasalik has addressed the Ministry of finances to provide funds for investments into mining, as, according to him, in the past 4 years they were close to zero. (Ukrainian metal)
