“In 2018-2023 we plan to put 7 new processing factories into operation with the annual capacity of 24.5 million tons. This will allow creating 1570 new jobs and processing 90% of coal mined in Kuzbass. Later on we plan to process all the coal mined here”, the Kemerovo region governor Aman Tulyeev declared.
At present Kuzbass operates 54 processing factories, with 31 constructed in the past 20 years.
“In 1997 we processed only 40% of all the coal mined, while now we process 70% (159.8 million tons). And we process all the coking coal”, he added. (Ukrainian metal)
