Amurmetal, which resumed operation in late July, exports over 60% of its products to the Southeast Asia.
“We deliver to Thailand, the Philippines, and Korea, which don’t have large steel capacities because of the lack of energy resources, but do have rolling manufacture. We supply our steel billets there, they roll them and sell locally or use for construction”, Vladimir Lebedev, CEO of Torex-Khabarovsk LLC, a new owner of Amurmetal, said.
According to him, “the interest to Amurmetall products is huge because of its quality and the speed of order fulfillment”.
“We have orders up till October 10. The flow of customers is constant, and new clients appear as well”, he added.
Local sales are carried out through the company’s network.
“We also cooperate with major traders and large end buyers – bridge and housing constructors, etc. We plan to increase monthly sales to 25 thousand tons”, Lebedev said. (Ukrainian metal)
